Where are some fun places to go for vacation?

My uncle is from China and he has moved here about a year ago to the US. He hasn't been on vacation to anywhere and wants to have fun!! Since spring break/summer vacation is almost here, we're trying to figure out what fun places to go to and stay for a few days to enjoy life. He's a kid at heart and loves to have fun. I suggested a place like Six Flags but he says it'll be boring since its only a one day thing (ride everything then done), Disney too in Florida but..thinking it was too childlike? Does anyone have any suggestions to anywhere!? He even suggested a cruise but I don't know.
