Do you think Michael Jackson was really as innocent and childlike as he acted?

In public he always acted childlike, but I don't think he was really like that. Many of his songs were about sex and love. Those topics don't seem very childlike to me....so maybe it was all an act and he wasn't really like that. What do you think?
