Did early children writers had a fear of female sexuality?

actually i think it has more to do with christianity than anything else. christians dont want ppl to become sexual beings. they abhore it. infact, jesus even proclaims that 'the most pure person is like a child' or something like that. and even today alot of christians hold sexist believes that most consider 'outdated' even though they are still widely practiced today.
