What's wrong with being childlike and having innocent qualities?

Just how "hard" are women expected to be nowadays? In regards to the questions about bubbles (lol!) people came down hard on women who still have an air of innocence about them,and childlike qualities such as enjoying something as simple as bubbles. There is a difference between childlike,and being childish.
