Christians: Need help with understanding "Godhead 101"?

God is the Father and Jesus is the son. What this means is that Gods spirit became manifest in human flesh; Jesus. God was Jesus in human flesh. When Jesus said that he and the Father are one, he was talking about spirit and body manifestation. It was necessary for God to come as a human so that theyd crucify him for suggesting his deity as a man in order to complete his sacrifice for mankind.
